Surrey Milk Thief Already Shot, On Drugs: RCMP

VANCOUVER - A bizarre police incident involving milk, drugs and a gunshot wound has cops in Surrey, B.C. scratching their heads.

RCMP issued a news release indicating that officers were called out to a corner store after a man was acting suspiciously, shortly before midnight Thursday night.

Police say the man entered the shop screaming, grabbed a jug of milk, went to the parking lot outside, and dumped the milk over his body.

Police responders located the man and realized he was on drugs, and had been pepper sprayed before arriving at the corner store.

The officers called paramedics, who discovered the man had also been shot in the leg.

Police say the man did not give any details about his wound, but was transported to hospital for treatment.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Surrey RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
