Accused Of Killing Parents, Toronto Man Charged With Two Counts Of Murder

Toronto Man Accused Of Killing Parents

A Toronto man has been charged with murder following the discovery of his parents' bodies on Easter Sunday.

The Globe and Mail reports the bodies of a 58-year-old father and 51-year-old mother were found in a home near Warden Avenue and McNicoll Avenue, in the city's east end.

A 26-year-old man was taken into police custody at the scene, and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

“The suspect’s cousin went to a payphone this morning and called 911,” Det. Dean Burks of Toronto homicide told 680 News. "York Regional Police responded to that call, obtained information from her and attended the address here with members of the Toronto Police Service.”
