Ron James On The (Former) Power Of Urine (VIDEO)

WATCH: Ron James On The (Former) Power Of Urine

Medicine has certainly come a long way -- and thank goodness for that!

On this week's episode of "The Ron James Show," the Canadian comedian jokes about what used to be in our medicine cabinets: most notably, urine. Apparently, according to James, urine was used as medicine for various ailments including athlete's foot, strep throat and acne. Yep, acne.

"That must've been good for the ol' confidence, eh?" quips James. "What better way for pimply, self-conscious teenagers to navigate their way through painful social circles than with the scent of wizz wafting off their cheeks?"

James then goes on to say that urine was also believed to be a remedy for earaches. We'll leave that one up to your imagination, folks.
