VANCOUVER - The Canadian Auto Workers Union said Tuesday it has reached a tentative agreement with courier company Dynamex for its 240 workers.

Details of the agreement were not immediately available.

The union had originally set a strike deadline for 12:01 a.m. Wednesday that has been lifted pending ratification meetings set for Sunday.

The workers, located in Vancouver and the surrounding areas, have been without a new contract since April 1, 2012.

Dynamex is a division of TransForce Inc. (TFI-T).
