"Mad Men" returns for its sixth season this Sunday and while we're excited to see what's in store for the busy bees at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, we are mostly looking forward to seeing what our favourite office manager Joan Harris will be wearing.
Harris, née Holloway, is known for two attributes: Her amble bosom and her beautifully-tailored clothes that fit her hour-glass figure perfectly.
From tight wrap dresses and clingy blouses in season one to floral prints and scarves in the later seasons, Joan, played by actress Christina Hendricks, is constantly showing off her gorgeous body without revealing too much. Her constant fashion-must? The bullet necklace which she is seen wearing in every season.
"Mad Men" costume designer Janie Bryant says she loves dressing Hendricks as Joan: "I’ve always seen [Joan] as this character who asserts herself in a very feminine way in the office. And she understands how to use those assets."
Joan isn't the only stylish woman in the "Mad Men" world- Don Draper's wife, Megan Draper (played by Canadian Jessica Paré), adds a youthful flair to the mix with vibrant prints.
So what kind of fashion will we see this season? Expect lots of colour and some psychedelic outfits courtesy of Megan Draper.
