Police are looking for four women in connection with an alleged sexual assault of a 19-year-old man in Toronto late last month.
The incident took place the night of Saturday, March 30 after the man met the women at a nightclub in the King St. and University Ave. area of downtown Toronto, according to a statement from police.
The man left the bar with the women, at which point they "drove him to a parking lot in the Queen Street West/Spadina Avenue area where they all sexually assaulted him," the statement reads.
Police say the women were all white, approximately 5'4" in height, roughly 190-200 pounds and somewhere between 30 and 36 years old. The driver spoke with what sounded like a British accent and had a tattoo of wings on the back of her neck.
All the women were wearing "short black dresses and high heels" and were in a silver Honda SUV, according to police.
The man did not require treatment in hospital, police told The Globe and Mail.
Det. Const. Thomas Ueberholz of the Toronto Police Sex Crimes unit told the National Post that while most sexual assault complaints come from women, "it is not completely unusual for a male to be the victim of a sexual assault."
Det. Const. Shannon McParland praised the man for coming forward in an interview with QMI, saying it is often hard for a male victim to approach police about a crime of this nature.
Twitter users were not so kind, with many on the social network mocking the man.
That attention may have led to the story getting picked up by the New York Daily News early Monday morning.
