WINNIPEG - The Manitoba government is merging some government offices and moving jobs in a bid to save money.

Finance Minister Stan Struthers says the province plans to save almost $1.5 million a year through the changes.

One move will see four workers in the Infrastructure and Transportation Department relocated from Minnedosa to Brandon.

There's also a plan to move some Agriculture Department workers in Treherne, Stonewall and other communities to other locations.

Struthers says the changes will not affect front-line services.
