Marijuana plants reported stolen in Ste-Julienne break-in

Marijuana plants were stolen and gunshots were fired during an overnight home invasion in Ste-Julienne, about 65 kilometres northeast of Montreal.

Four people entered the home on Montée Hamilton Street just before 3 a.m. this morning, taking a computer, an X-Box and the marijuana plants, said Sûreté du Québec Sgt. Ronald McInnis.

Though the suspects fired shots according to police, neither of the home’s two occupants were injured.

The four suspects were found and arrested by police shortly after they left the home.

McInnis said investigators are still trying to determine if there was a relationship between the victims and the suspects.
