When it comes to iconic movie hairstyles, which film stars come to mind?
For us, it's Audrey Hepburn's elegant up-do in "Breakfast At Tiffany's", Marilyn Monroe's bombshell blond in well, every movie, Molly Ringwald's precocious red curls in "Sixteen Candles" and Mia Farrow's pixie in "Rosemary's Baby."
But according to a survey, Anne Hathaway's delicate crop in the 2011 movie "One Day" is the most influential film hairstyle ever. (Say what?)
The research, conducted by Universal Pictures UK and the Hairdressing Council of Great Britain, placed Jennifer Aniston's wavy tresses for "Along Came Polly" in second place while Hepburn came in third for her classic up-do in "Charade."
Rounding up the top five are Veronica Lake's controlled waves in "The Blue Dahlia" and Molly Ringwald's sassy ginger style in "The Breakfast Club."
The survey also found that one in 10 women changed their hairstyle based on a character they've watched in a movie.
