Destiny Rae Tom’s badly beaten body was found early in the morning on March 23 on a reserve near Fort Fraser, west of Vanderhoof.
Police have interviewed several witnesses who were with Tom at a party before she died, but no arrests have been made.
"We are not sleeping, and we are having difficulty eating. We believe that someone out there knows something and has yet to come forward,” Tom’s mother said.
RCMP spokeswoman Lesley Smith asked witnesses to contact police or leave an anonymous tip with Crimestoppers.
"We need to talk to everyone. Everybody saw something different,” Smith said. “There's just so much information that is out there. We need to gather what is true, and decipher it from rumours."
Tom had lived in the community for a few years with one of the band members, with whom she had a young child.
In March, Nadleh Chief Martin Louie said alcohol may have played a role, but investigators said they were treating her death as suspicious.
