FREDERICTON - New Brunswick Premier David Alward has appointed another acting ombudsman for the province.

Jennifer Murray had been the director of legal and corporate services for the office of the ombudsman since 2004.

She replaces Francois Levert, who quit as the acting ombudsman last month.

Last week, Alward announced that candidates are being sought for three legislative officer positions.

The government plans to hire a new ombudsman, a child and youth advocate and a new commissioner of official languages.
