MIRAMICHI, N.B. - A company that specializes in learning technologies is setting up a new centre in Miramichi, N.B., and promising to create up to 22 full-time jobs.

Bluedrop Performance Learning Inc., which is headquartered in St. John's, N.L., announced Friday that it will open the facility in northern New Brunswick.

The provincial government is giving the company $974,400 through conditional loans and payroll rebates over four years.

Premier David Alward says the investment will contribute $1.2 million annually to the province's GDP once all 22 positions have been filled.

A spokesman with the company says there are already 55 employees at other Bluedrop locations in New Brunswick.
