3 arrested after Prince George 'suspicious death'

Police in northern B.C. have arrested two men and a youth in connection with a suspicious death over the weekend.

Prince George RCMP were called to a home in the 800-block of Douglas Street at around 3:30 p.m. PT Friday.

Cpl. Craig Douglass said police would not release any information about the victim until an autopsy is conducted later this week, but confirmed that the suspects and victim were known to each other.

"Two adults and a young person, all males, have been taken into custody and are believed to be responsible for the death," Douglass said on Monday.

"The deceased and the suspects are known to each other and police do not believe the public is in danger."

Charges are expected within the next couple of days.
