CALGARY - A Calgary junior high school is in mourning after learning one of its teachers was fatally stabbed.

Police say Harvey "Craig" Kelloway, who was 31, was stabbed during an altercation at his neighbour's home on Saturday night.

Staff-Sgt. Doug Andrus said Kelloway just met his alleged attacker earlier in the day.

A 911 call was later made from inside the suspect's house, but police haven't said who made the call.

Family members say Kelloway is survived by his girlfriend and a young son.

He moved to Calgary from Cape Breton six years ago, after graduating from St. Francis Xavier University and Acadia University.

Nicholas Rasberry, who is 30, is charged with second-degree murder and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
