Have you ever thought your underwear was lacking some je ne sais quoi? Perhaps you feel that your Calvin Klein briefs should smell a bit more fruity?
Well, that dream may become a reality thanks to French underwear company, Le Slip Francais, which is raising money for the development of their perfumed undies through a crowdfunding page.
The company has raised almost $25,000 from investors who obviously can't wait to try on a pair of sweet-smelling boxers.
Le Slip Francais founder Guillaume Gibault told AFP that the underwear has micro-capsules built into the cotton so that when the owner moves around, the capsules release a scent which lasts up to 30 washes.
“It’s quite a masculine perfume, not very strong, based on musk and pears,” Gibault said. (Just what every man needs, undies smelling of fruit.)
Wacky men's underwear seems to be a new trend; HommeMystere, a company which designs and sells lingerie exclusively for men, sells lace thongs and even padded bras for men.
Le Slip Francais is even giving investors some incentive: Supporters will reportedly get many perks including key rings and the chance to become the face (or torso) of the brand.
Or, you could just buy, you know, cologne.
