CHASE, B.C. - The RCMP say a murder-suicide was behind the deaths of two people whose bodies were found in a home east of Kamloops, B.C.

A 45-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy were discovered dead in the community of Anglemont, near Chase on April 30.

The RCMP released few details at the time, and Const. Lesley Smith says the crime scene posed several challenges.

But she says investigators have finally determined it was a murder-suicide.

She says both victims lived at the home, but their names are not being released at the request of the family.
