Yorkdale Shooting, 2nd In Less Than 2 Months, Leaves Man Wounded

TORONTO - Police are investigating the second shooting at Toronto's Yorkdale Mall in less than two months.

Shots were fired through a window of the JOEY Restaurant early Saturday morning and a man was wounded.

The man's wound is not considered life-threatening and he was the only person injured.

Police are looking for two suspects and a silver, newer model Honda CRV seen fleeing the scene shortly after the shooting.

A shooting in the mall's parking lot at the end of March left one man dead and another wounded.

The mall was open Saturday, except for the restaurant.

"Like all Torontonians, we are concerned about gun violence and saddened when such incidents occur in our city," the mall said in a statement.

"We are cooperating with police and want to thank Toronto Police Service and emergency services for their rapid response."
