EDMONTON - A young woman who was reported abducted earlier this week has been located.

Edmonton police say Rhianne Melin Larocque, 29, contacted police Friday night after learning of media reports regarding her abduction.

Police say she was reportedly dropped off unharmed on the outskirts of Edmonton by a male abductor on Thursday afternoon.

Police continue to search for the woman’s dark grey, 2013 Dodge Dart, which was stolen during the incident.

Witnesses said the woman was taken during an altercation at an east-side location.

Police are watching for four people who may be connected to the woman's disappearance.

Police say the four — a woman and three men — are considered armed and dangerous.
