Many parts of southern Ontario are under an extreme thunderstorm watch.
In Orangeville, north of Toronto, hundreds were left without power after the powerful storm hit in the late afternoon.
More than 50 hydro crews are working to restore power along the road to the Honda plant in Alliston.
The crews say they'll be working "into the night" to get the plant back in operation.
So far there have been no reports of any injuries.
Environment Canada says it was strong winds to blame for the damage here but meteorologists are looking at other locations around southern Ontario where possible twisters may have touched down
