LANGLEY, B.C. - Jennifer Saunders of Winnipeg and Mike Green of Burlington, Ont., successfully defended their titles Saturday at the 2013 Canadian Racquetball Championships.

Saunders defeated Josee Grand'Maitre 15-6, 16-14. Grand'Maitre, from Longueuil, Que., is Saunders' doubles partner and the two won their ninth title together earlier in the week.

Grand'maitre served for the game at 14-10 and 14-12 in the second game, but couldn't manage to find the winning point. Saunders went ahead 15-14 and won it on her first match point.

Saunders victory ties her for the most Canadian women's singles with Heather Stupp of Montreal.

On the men's side, Green defeated second seed Tim Landeryou of Saskatoon, 15-10, 15-8.

Landeryou was undefeated in Canada this season, including a win against Green at the last Canadian national team selection event in February.

Green got the better of his rival Saturday, coming back from an 8-4 deficit in the second game to win his fourth consecutive men's title, and ninth overall.
