Ryan Lochte wins 200 IM, finishes 2nd in 50 back in Canada Cup

VANCOUVER - U.S. Olympic champion Ryan Lochte won the 200-meter individual medley and finished second in the 50-meter backstroke Saturday in the Mel Zajac Jr. International Canada Cup.

Lochte won the 200-meter individual medley in a meet-record 2 minutes, 0.15 seconds.

Gleb Suvurov, who moved to Canada from Russia with his parents six years ago, took the 50 backstroke in 26.39 seconds. Lochte, who won both of his races Friday night, followed in 26.52.
