Stanley Cup Playoffs: Sunday's Need To Know

San Jose is hoping to keep their win streak alive at the Shark Tank on Sunday, the Rangers are finished for the season while the Bruins meet the Penguins, and the Blackhawks prepare to travel back to the Joe Louis Arena and extend their season.

Ahead of tonight's crucial tilt in California, here's a list of things you need to know, which will be updated throughout the day:

- Home ice advantage isn't just an ideal, it's been a way of life for the L.A. Kings and San Jose Sharks in their semifinal series. For the Sharks, they just better hope it continues in Game 6, before they try and figure out how to reverse the trend in Game 7.

- The Kings' Jarret Stoll returned to practice on Sunday, but isn't expected to be in the lineup for Game 6. He's been out since Raffi Torres sidelined him with a hit that the Shark was suspended for. As for any hard feelings, it doesn't seem like there is a grudge.

- While the West is still in flux, the East is down to the final two teams. How do the Penguins and Bruins stack up against one another? Check out our tale of the tape.

- Remember how Jarome Iginla was going to the Bruins? But didn't, so they got Jaromir Jagr instead? Well, cue the Iginla vs. Boston, Jagr vs. Penguins storylines.

- Sidney Crosby practising without his jaw protector? Sidney Crosby practising without his jaw protector.

- Is Brooks Orpik is a one-dimensional player? Looks like it. Oh, a cardboard cut-out, you say?

- First it was the Senators on Friday, and on Saturday it was the New York Rangers' turn to reflect on their season after a Game 5 ouster. Henrik Lundqvist thanked fans, looked inward, and tried to remember the positives.

- A major reason for that ouster? Unheralded Bruins defenceman Torey Krug, who scored his fourth career playoff goal in just his fifth post-season game.

- Rangers coach John Tortorella says the blame should land on him, for not getting his top players to be top players.
