KELOWNA, B.C. - Anyone wanting to mark the fifth anniversary of the William R. Bennett Bridge in Kelowna, B.C., has the problem licked.

A limited edition stamp has been issued.

Designer Peter Lepold says only 200 of the custom-made stamps are available, through a special service offered by Canada Post.

He says the program, called Picture Postage, allows for designers to submit ideas to Canada Post for approval.

Selected designs are issued as special commemorative stamps.

The $144-million Bennett Bridge opened on May 25, 2008 replacing the 50-year-old Okanagan Lake Bridge, between Kelowna and West Kelowna. (CKFR)
