Warmer, drier and sunnier weather will move into B.C.'s South Coast starting Friday afternoon and will continue right through the weekend, reports CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.

What's left of Thursday's showers may linger for Friday morning, making for a cloudy and even drizzly start. But skies should clear out nicely by the afternoon with temperatures back up to seasonal high teens for the first time in a week and a half.
