A fire that broke out in an apartment building on Grenet Street in Ville St-Laurent Saturday night is being investigated by police.

The fire spread from the second storey to the floor above, and it took 75 firefighters to extinguish it.

Police said an accelerant was found at the scene and that they're looking at the blaze as a suspected arson.

They said the blaze occurred at the same location where a man was stabbed to death last Thursday, though they couldn't make any further links between the two events for the time being.
