Looks like Sidney Crosby can't catch a break on the ice or in the skies.

The Pittsburgh Penguin's star centerman found himself the end of a JetBlue pilot's joke as the budget airline was flying members of the Boston media back from Pittsburgh to Boston Tuesday morning.

Here's how things went down according to CBS Boston: just as the plane was about to take off, a baby on board started crying, prompting the pilot to ask over the loudspeaker if “Sidney Crosby is in the back of the plane.”

Members of the Boston media were quick to immortalize the pilot's jab at Crosby via Twitter, notes USA Today.

Things haven't been exactly easy for Crosby and his team mates. The Penguins have dropped their first two games against the Bruins, going down 3-0 on Saturday and losing 6-1 Monday night in Pittsburgh.

But hey, at least JetBlue's jab gives new meaning to Crosby's nickname "Sid the Kid".
