'Big Brother Canada' Renewed For Another Season On Slice

Hit Reality Series Back In Canada

"Big Brother Canada" has been renewed for a second season, Shaw Media said Wednesday as it announced its slate of shows for the 2013 and 2014 television seasons.

The Canadian version of the long running U.S. reality series Big Brother was a big hit on Slice and its finale made headlines after a voting mishap resulted in fan favourite Gary Levy losing to Jillian McLaughlin. The 15 houseguests were competing for the $100,000 prize.

Arisa Cox was the host of the show during the 10-week run on Slice. Shaw did not provide details on when the show will be airing or about the makeup of the cast.
