Gas leak capped in downtown Vancouver

A gas leak in downtown Vancouver that forced some offices near Nelson and Howe streets to close has been capped and people are being allowed to return to their buildings.

Police evacuated the 900 and 1000 blocks of Granville, Howe, Hornby streets, and the 700 and 800 blocks of Nelson Street after a construction crew reportedly punctured a gas line.
