Larry Cross Child, School Bus Driver, Charged With Impaired Driving

STAND OFF, Alta. - Police in southern Alberta have charged a school bus driver with impaired driving.

The Blood Tribe Police say they received a tip Wednesday morning of a possibly drunk driver operating a school bus with 12 children on board in the community of Stand Off.

Police responded and arrested the driver.

Larry Cross Child is charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample.

He is to appear in court July 29 in Cardston.

The children were driven to class safely in another school bus by another driver.
