Blackhawks, Bruins set for Stanley Cup final on Hockey Night

The first pre-expansion Stanley Cup final since 1979 will open Wednesday night (CBC,, 8 p.m. ET) on CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada.

Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson will be at the Madhouse on Madison, in Chicago, to call the action between the Boston Bruins and the host Blackhawks. All starts times begin at 8 p.m. ET.

Game 2 goes Saturday June 15, again in Chicago, before the series moves back East to Boston for games Mon., June 17, and Wednesday June 19.

The team's didn't square off in the lockout-shortened season because there were no interconference games.

Glenn Healey will handle the analysis from between the benches with Scott Oake as the rink reporter.

Scotiabank Hockey Tonight presents full pre-game shows for all the contests at 7:30 p.m. ET, on-site, hosted by Ron MacLean, along with P.J. Stock and Elliotte Friedman. Andi Petrillo will have news and updates from the Chevrolet iDesk.

A special extended pre-game show airs on Saturday, June 15 at 7 p.m. ET ahead of Game 2 of the series as CBC's Hockey Night in Canada carries the 2013 NHL Awards.

And, of course, Don Cherry will have Coach’s Corner sponsored by Budweiser, each night.
