A moose was struck by a truck carrying fireworks early Friday morning near Wawa, Ontario, a collision that has grabbed international headlines.
The fire caused by the rupture of the truck's fuel tanks and the subsequent dramatic explosions led to the closure of Highway 17S for nearly six hours, according to Wawa News. The occupants of the truck escaped unhurt, but the vehicle itself was left a steaming metal frame. We're thinking the moose wasn't so lucky.
