An extravagant condo in Edmonton that was auctioned on Thursday sold for $3.25 million.

Owned by Dave Ritchie, co-founder of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, the 4,500-square-foot Edmonton condo has three bedrooms, a solarium and outdoor patio as well as private wine storage and a three-car garage.

"I was happy with everything and how it worked out," said Ritchie.

The last time Ritchie auctioned something he owned was a yacht that sold in 15 minutes at a megayacht auction in the Cayman Islands.

The yacht was sold for a loss at $46.6 million after Ritchie reportedly bought it for $90 million, the Edmonton Journal reports.

The yacht, named Apoise, has room for 31 people, with six decks, a Jacuzzi, sports bar, theatre and gym.

The auction in Edmonton also sold equipment including 195 pickup trucks, over 100 truck tractors and 15 motor graders with total sales adding up to over $60 million.
