Premier David Alward announced three legislative officer appointments today following a new process involving a selection committee.
Lawyer Norman Bosse will become the new child and youth advocate.
The incoming ombudsman is Charles Murray, who now sits as the executive director of the province's Electoral Boundaries and Representation Commission.
Katherine d'Entremont, who has served in the public service in various roles for more than 30 years, will become the new official languages commissioner.
The appointments last for seven years.
