Greek Day - June 23: This all-day event takes place on West Broadway between Blenheim Street and Macdonald Street from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Highlights include a musical main stage, a Kids' Zone, food tents with delicious Greek food and an Agora (marketplace) where merchants sell their wares and customers haggle for prices. Khatsalano - July 13: This year’s festival morphs 10 blocks of West 4th Avenue into a street fair, with a wide variety of food vendors, patios, street performers and 12 stages showcasing more than 50 musical acts. Vancouver Pride Festival - August 4: Vancouver Pride began as a small local march, but has grown into a nationally and internationally recognized LGBT event, attracting more than 650,000 people.
