Michelle Obama is like Victoria Beckham; the two always look stylish while travelling. (That's right, we just compared the First Lady to Posh Spice.)

So for the Obamas' first official visit to Northern Ireland on Monday, Michelle went with a simple yet chic outfit.

Flotus ditched her go-to American designers and went with the British brand Burberry. Obama rocked a classic trench coat with a corset and belt around the waist, brown slacks and sensible nude heels. No wedge heels for the First Lady!

Barack and Michelle's brood were allowed to be a bit more playful with their footwear; First Daughters Sasha and Malia wore bright pink and lime green shoes with eldest Malia sporting a little bit of a heel.

Michelle, who is in town ahead of the G8 summit, will most likely be watching what she wears. Can we expect many outfit repeats and will she finally wear an Oscar de la Renta gown?

We love Mobama's Burberry trench:
