Rodger Cuzner, Liberal MP, Mocks Thomas Mulcair's Embarrassing Driving Incident

WATCH: Liberals Laugh At Mulcair's Driving

NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair has been the butt of more than a few jokes since an embarrassing driving incident last Thursday ended with him asking a female RCMP officer: "Don’t you know who I am?"

But the best zingers may have come from Liberal MP Rodger Cuzner, who decided on Monday to express his thoughts through poetry.

In a piece entitled, “Reflections On A Conversation On The Hill Last Week,” Cuzner mercilessly pokes fun at the NDP leader’s misfortune and compares him to Reese Witherspoon, who was famously arrested for disorderly conduct after a traffic stop in April.

Here is a full transcript of Cuzner’s poem:

Don't you know who I am?" In a tone forced and feared.

You're the lead-footed driver with a grey suit and beard.

I'm the big shot in O'Town, I'm a really big deal.

I'm certain you are sir, now take your hands off the wheel.

I'm the NDP Leader, I can show you the proof.

Step out of the car, sir, put your hands on the roof.

I'll talk to your boss, you will sure change your tune.

Well...it didn't seem to work for Reese Witherspoon.

I'm going to be late for Anger Management class.

Well, you should have pulled over and not been such a...bad driver.

Lady, you're in big trouble, your job's on the line.

You enjoy question period, I'll be just fine.

The moral of this story is, by chance of by plan, never start a conversation with...

Don't you know who I am?

Judging by the guffaws, Cuzner’s poem may be even more of a hit than "The Ballad of Justin and Patrick," which celebrated Justin Trudeau’s boxing victory over Senator Patrick Brazeau in 2012.

Cuzner also reads an annual holiday poem that pokes fun at Conservative and NDP rivals.
