Who knew Aishwarya Rai was a horse lover?
The stunning Bollywood actress mingled with the British elite (and their hangers-on) on day one of the Royal Ascot in England on Tuesday.
Wearing a fascinator fit for Kate Middleton, the 39-year-old dressed as the English do in a pretty black and white lace dress with a large ribbon wrapped around her svelte waist and a matching fascinator which almost overshadowed her glamorous wavy brunette hair.
Ash, who has been a regular at the Royal Ascot horse race since 2009 (see her stunning feathered hat), was in the presence of royals such as Queen Elizabeth II and her granddaughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
Sadly, there was no Duchess of Cambridge or Prince William in sight. (Must be because they're getting ready for the imminent arrival of their royal baby.)
We're not used to seeing the former Miss World wear such traditional English clothes! Just a few days ago we spotted the yummy mummy in a gorgeous lime green anarkali and while at Cannes 2013 in May, Rai-Bachchan wowed in a gold sari.
No matter what she wears, Aishwarya always looks gorgeous.
