Abercrombie & Fitch Pulls Taylor Swift Shirt After Fan Outcry

Swift Fans Call Foul Over Abercrombie Shirt

Don't mess with Taylor Swift fans!

Abercrombie & Fitch learned just how powerful "Swifties" were when they were forced to pull a t-shirt mocking Swift after fans complained that it was insulting the country-pop singer.

The t-shirt, which said “# more boyfriends than t.s.," (a reference to Swift), prompted enraged fans to create a petition on Change.org, which asked for signatures to get Abercrombie to promptly remove the shirt from stores.

Some hurt Swifties made comments on the petition such as:

"I am a really big Taylor Swift fan. It does not only hurt her, it hurts her fans as well." - Madison Shradley

"Do not make fun of our idol.. k you'll get what you deserve it !" - Andi N'hasni

"The enemy of Aber&Fitch is my friend." - Elaine Barr.

Wow! That's a lesson to all you Taylor haters out there!

Buzzfeed called the controversial company's public relations line to see if the shirt was in fact pulled, and got the following greeting: “Thank you for calling Abercrombie & Fitch public relations. If you are calling regarding the Taylor Swift t-shirt, please note this is no longer available."

Hey, if Jake Gyllenhaal's, John Mayer's, Harry Styles' and Conor Kennedy's ex isn't making a big fuss about it, why should the fans?

This incident is just the latest in a series of public relations disasters for the company, which recently made headlines for its no plus-size policy.
