Police in Kelowna have determined that a woman who was found dead inside her Glenmore home was the victim of a homicide.

Just after midnight on Tuesday, police were called to assist paramedics at a home in the 300 block of Yates Road. There, officers found the body of Theresa Ashley Neville, 27. They determined that her death was suspicious.

Neville's two children, aged eight and 10, were found unharmed inside the home. They have since been sent to live with extended family.

On Friday, police announced that Neville's was the victim of a homicide, and said they would like to speak to a person of interest who was seen in the area the night of her death.

That person is described as a darker-skinned man with long, shoulder-length black hair, slim features, a narrow face, and high cheekbones. He was last seen wearing all-black clothing.
