The local creek spilled its banks on Friday, sending water into the downtown business area and causing at least six homes to be evacuated.

Flood waters have since receded, but rain is falling in the area again today.
“We're very concerned,” said village chief administrative officer Tom Kadla.
“We just have to be prepared and be ready for if something like that happens again, because you never know which way the weather will turn."
Kadla expects the creek to crest again sometime tomorrow morning or early afternoon.
He says sandbags are available for residents and businesses who want to protect their property.
