Everyone loves Naheed Nenshi.

Canada's media is smitten, calling Calgary's mayor an indefatigable hero shining bright on the national stage. In a nutshell, Nenshi is the antithesis of Rob Ford. He's Superman.

But that doesn't mean he isn't just as of good a target for satire as Ford. A new Twitter account is proof.

@ShitNenshiHasto has racked up thousands of followers in the short time since Calgary's mayor issued his now-famous indictment of Calgarians crazy enough to boat on the city's flooded rivers.

"I can't believe I actually have to say this, but I'm going to say it. The river is closed. You cannot boat on the river. I have a large number of nouns that I can use to describe the people I saw in a canoe on the Bow river today. I am not allowed to use any of them,"Nenshi said Sunday. "I can tell you, however, that I have been told that despite the state of local emergency, I'm not allowed to invoke the Darwin law."

If you thought that was hilarious, the tweets below are made for you. Fittingly, the first one perfectly encapsulates why, amid a massive natural disaster, Toronto is still jealous of Calgary.
