Unsettled weather on B.C. South Coast for next couple days

06/26/2013 06:56 EDT | Updated 08/26/2013 05:12 EDT
The risk of showers and even a thunderstorm will remain in the forecast for Vancouver through Wednesday evening, but so too will the sunny breaks, says CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.

B.C.'s South Coast weather continues to be controlled by a spinning low pressure system that has become stuck off the coast of Vancouver Island, ushering in a cool and moist southwesterly flow, but with breaks.

On Saturday, a high pressure system will replace the current weather for a warm and sunny long weekend.
