Vincent Lecavalier agrees to join Flyers on multi-year deal

Vincent Lecavalier is off the free agent market.

The Philadelphia Flyers announced on Tuesday they agreed to terms with the former Tampa Bay Lightning centre on a multi-year deal. While terms were not disclosed, multiple reports have suggested it's for five years and $22.5 million US.

The veteran was bought out last week by the only team he has ever known. He had spent his entire 14-year career with the Lightning and scored 383 goals and 874 points in 1,037 career regular-season games.

More to come.
