CALGARY - Police say a man in his 30s has been attacked and stabbed by two strangers at a Calgary transit station.

Emergency workers say the man was stabbed in the chest and taken to hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police say the attack appears to have been unprovoked and carried out by two men who confronted the victim as he walked on an overpass.

They are looking for suspects and investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from cameras stationed near the incident.
