Rihanna Wears Gold Earrings Shaped Like Guns (PHOTO)

Has Rihanna Gone Too Far With Her Controversial Earrings?

Rihanna is no stranger to controversy, but her latest fashion statement has some critics wondering if the "good girl gone bad" has gone too far.

The Barbadian beauty seems to have a certain fascination with guns -- so much so that she's even accessorizing with them, sporting a pair of gold, gun-shaped earrings by Chanel during an outing on Monday as she left her London hotel.

She uploaded a photo of her new jewelry to Instagram, captioning the snap with a series of hashtags ("#CoCo #vintage #rare").

And it's not the first time Rihanna's accessorized with firearms. She's been spotted on more than one occasion wearing a vintage Chanel gun choker necklace.

She also has a tattoo of a pistol on her right ribs.

“Everybody wanted to know what was happening in my life," she said. “'Is she a drug addict?' No. 'Is she an alcoholic?' No. 'Is she a victim?' No."

“That's why I got the gun. It was a symbol of strength. I'll never be a victim.”

Her latest fashion statement is bound to anger anti-gun lobbyists and concerned parents, who have accused Rihanna in the past of being a bad role model who glorifies violence.

What do you think? Are Ri Ri's gold guns chic or insensitive?
