Zimmerman Verdict Makes Americans Threaten To Move To Canada (TWITTER)

Americans Threaten To Move To Canada Over Verdict

George Zimmerman was found not guilty in the death of Trayvon Martin on Saturday and many Americans immediately took to Twitter to express their outrage.

As they have often done before, a good number of these angry Americans threatened to move to Canada in retaliation. Many cited the verdict as just the latest sign that the U.S. justice system is not only broken, but racist. There were many mentions of the Casey Anthony verdict and some even cited Michael Vick's incarceration for animal cruelty as evidence that America's priorities are badly out of whack.

There was also plenty of outrage over recent legislation in Texas that limits access to abortions.

Some Canadians said they would prefer for the angry Americans to just stay home, just as they did when their neighbours to the south threatened moves over Obama's election victory and the Supreme Court Obamacare decision.
