It's a strange sight: people staring intently and pointing at a pile of construction debris beside a downtown sidewalk. It's a messy assortment of concrete chunks, twisted rebar, bricks and dirt.
It looks more like a pile of rubble than a work of art. But, in fact, it's both.
The latest public art project in the Vancouver Art Gallery's Offsite location outside the Shangri-La Hotel on Georgia Street is a mixed media installation from MadeIn Company, a Shanghai-based artist collective.
