Royal Family Celebrates Baby Cambridge's Birth: William, Charles, Camilla 'Overjoyed'

'We Could Not Be Happier'

Royals: they're just like us.

Ok maybe not, but when it comes to the birth of a baby, who doesn't let down their guard? With the birth of Kate and Will's long-awaited baby son on July 22, even the royals are taking to the interwebs to share their joy.

Palace officials released a statement after the birth saying the royal family received the news. "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news," said a statement issued from the duke and duchess's official residence Kensington Palace.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess Of Cornwall then let their hearts burst online:

“Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild. It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy.

"Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone’s life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future.”
