Aishwarya Rai's Most Beautiful Saris (PHOTOS)

Aishwarya Rai has captured our attention not only because of her great beauty, intelligence and incredible films but her evolving style has kept us salivating for more.

It's been almost 20 years since the L'Oreal spokesperson stole our hearts as Miss World, and most recently the screen siren has captured our imaginations with her stunning regal gowns at Cannes 2013, her fun Royal Ascot looks and her casual mommy daywear.

But it's the raven-haired beauty's many saris (or sarees) that have made her a unique star (at least in the West); despite being probably offered many designer gowns from Paris, Milan and New York, the Mumbai-native chooses to continually wear the traditional South Asian garb (see the stunning gold sari she wore to Cannes in May.)

For those who don't know, the most common style for a sari to be worn is wrapped around a woman's waist, with one end draped over the shoulder which bares a hint of midriff. (Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has a beautiful collection too.)
