Two days ago, police revealed that a Boston Steinway baby grand piano had been stolen from Toronto General Hospital earlier in the month.
Police then said that three male suspects had been involved in the heist, which occurred on the afternoon of July 14.
According to police, two thieves put the instrument on a dolly and then used a service elevator to take it down to a loading area. It was loaded onto a red-and-white cargo van and driven away. The thieves apparently told staff they were taking the instrument for a tune-up.
On Wednesday, police issued a news release saying that the stolen piano had been recovered the day before.
Police say they are now seeking a 27-year-old Toronto man who is alleged to have sold the baby grand piano to a business.
